Lithospermum viride has ovate, heavily veined leaves and greenish flowers with short corolla lobes. The flowers are less than 2.5cm long. Mature plants stand 12-18 inches tall but still seem to blend into the surrounding vegetation. Lithospermum viride is found in middle elevation Pinon Pine stands on moist ridges.
