Habitat: On N-facing quartzite ledges.

Description: Main stems short-creeping, not easily fragmenting, with rhizophores nearly throughout; lateral branches erect-ascending; leaves monomorphic, decurrent at base, firm in texture with an evident dorsal groove terminating in prominent convexity short of tip; terminal setae ca. 0.2-0.3 mm long, straight, persistent & entire; sporophylls minutely ciliolate near bases.
