Habitat:
Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area, Atlanta Tract. Unnamed trib., origin off of Reactor Rd. 0.6 miles S of the Etowah. Survey area includes trib. drainage and Etowah river terrace between trib. and end of Reactor Rd. Growing along roadside, where Reactor Rd. cuts through a steep, north-facing rock-outcrop above Etowah floodplain. Rock is black and fragments easily.
