Description: Fl pink-purple, heads globose, densely cobwebby, 1.2-2.5 cm in diam at peduncle, phyllaries long and horizontal to ascending. Pl moderately tomentose.
Notes: East end of Santa Ysabel Road in sandy soil with Lupinus chamissonis, Ceanothus cuneatus, Quercus agrifolia, Lotus scoparius, Eriophyllum confertifolium. Ehrhardta calycina encroaching.
