Locality: Mexico, Sonora, Guaymas Municipio, Tributary canyon extending eastward from Cañón La Balandrona, north side of Sierra El Aguaje.

Elevation: 150 meters (492ft)
Habitat: Dense gallery of small trees and shrubs extending to the canyon wall from edge of watercourse, a jumble of large boulders. Most of the soil has been carried away by flash floods which, like those in the main canyon, must have been quite violent.
Description: Shrub 2.3 m tall; localized.
