Habitat: Along flat summit ridge in areas of red, clay soil.
Description: Very common on summit ridge and diminishing in abundance down ridge to saddle above grassy slope into Virginia Basin. Uncommon at saddle and not seen below it. Milky, yellow flowers. Full bloom.
