Habitat: Unmowed ditch, along barbed-wire fence, near dairy farm.
Reproductive Condition: flower
Notes: Annual herb, to 60 cm high, naturalized from Europe, has 1-4, creamy-white to yellow, sessile flowers, 2.5-3.5 cm long in the axils of the upper leaves. Pods mature black and are 3.5-5cm long. Florida-Mississippi and north into Delaware-Missouri.
