Habitat: Marsh. Soil Characteristics: St. Lucie sand, hummocky (Sv) - very deep, excessively drained, very rapidly permeable soils on dune-like ridges and on isolated knolls formed in marine or eolian sand. Associate plant species: Phragmites australis, Cynanchum angustifolium, Spartina patens, Panicum repens, Echinochloa walteri, Eustachys petraea, Baccharis halimifolia. Uncommon.
