Habitat: Narrow steep canyon with fine sandy soil in canyon bottom and rocky slopes above. Abronia and Hesperocallis abundant on sandy canyon floor, and Langloisia setosissima and Achronychia cooperi common on rocky slopes. Abundant displays of wildflowers due to exceptional winter rains.
