Habitat: Variable vegetation from small grassy fields with Asteraceae, grasses and Clarkia bottae, to an oak woodland canyon with moist and shady conditions. Site also had typical chaparral species but was not densely vegetated.
Notes: Solitary shrub in shady canyon with Quercus agrifolia; fls lavender. Another plant (presumably cultiv.) growing by a sign at park entrance.
