Habitat: Rough, dark basalt interspersed with light-colored, fine-textured sand; some areas of closed drainage with silty, seasonally flooded deposits. Open scrub of Larrea tridentata and Ambrosia dumosa, with rich association of annuals.
Notes: Occasional prostrate annual; flowers white.
