Locality: U.S.A., California, San Diego, Nw Palomar Mountains, Agua Tibia Mountains: South of the Pechanga Indian Reservation along the Magee Truck Trail, just south of the Riverside / San Diego County line border.

Elevation: 488-518 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1600-1700 ft.
Habitat: Gabbroic substrate with a cobbley clay soil; N-NW aspect; 0-30% slope. Disturbed roadsides running through mesic chaparral composed of Heteromeles arbutifolia, Salvia mellifera, Rhamnus crocea, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Quercus berberidifolia, Pedicularis densiflora, Sanicula crassicaulis, Lomatium dasycarpum, etc.
