Small tree, 1.5 m, with numerous drooping branches; trunk cinnamon-red to reddish-brown; twigs light green, flattened, eventually terete. Leaves alternate, gray-green, coriaceous, lancelate, apex inequilateral or falcate; small brownish gland at distal end of short petiole. Inflorescence axillary, solitary or racemose. Flowers globose, 11-13 mm across, apetalous; filaments pale yellow; styles white, barely exceeding stamen.
