Habitat: Rocky canyon with sagebrush shrubland dominant.
Substrate: basalt ravines
Associated Species: Prunus sp., Bromus tectorum, Chrysothamnus
Description: Tall sagebrush >2m, with a thick central stem. Long fibrous bark. Long leaves, shallowly three-lobed. Leaves in water did not fluoresce under UV light.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
