Habitat: Wash is open sandy & rocky substrate; alluvial benches covered by alluvial scrub vegetation, including Lepidospartum squamatum, Cercocarpus betuloides, etc. Riparian scrub (Salix lasiolepis, Baccharis salicifolia) occurs along stream.
Notes: Scattered, occas.-common, but inconspicuous. Sandy soil near mature shrubs, gen. growing w/ cryptogamus and other annuals.
