Habitat: Pinus monophylla woodland with Juniperus sp., Glossopetalon spinescens, Cercocarpus ledifolius conspicuous. Limestone soils on steep N and W aspects.
Notes: Perennial; fls. ± pink. Occasional; much localized on thin, sandy carbonate soil over bedrock, along minor ridgeline.
