Habitat: Bullion Canyon volcanics, Delano Peak tuff member of dark reddish brown, crystal rich quartz latite. Open mesic turfy tundra on SW facing slope below summit ridge; common associates include Ivesia gordonii, Carex elynoides, Phlox pulvinata, Macronema discoideum, Lesquerella wardii, Artemesia scopulorum.
Description: stems mostly simple; plants in fruit; relatively common locally.
