Habitat: Chaparral; granitic subtrates.
Associated Species: Adenostoma fasciculatum, A. sparsifolium, Ceanothus greggii, Arctostaphylos glandulosa, Eriodictyon crassifolium, Eriogonum fasciculatum, and Quercus x acutidens.
Description: Shrub to 4 m tall, flowers white; common.
