Granite outcrops below road; growing only on sandy soils about outcrop, not from crevices.
Description:
Extremely common but very localised in dense patches, hundreds of plants. Corolla light magenta with 5 red-purple lines radiating from throat onto mid-veins of lobe bases anad a red-purple spot at each of the two sinuses that separate the upper (usually slightly darker) 2 lobes from the lower 3; tube-throat magenta but pale ventrally; proximal .5 of throat floor yellow, the distal .5 white with scattered red-purple dots. Red-purple markings often partially coalescing.
