Locality: United States, Colorado, Jefferson, Apex Park - Northern Parcel. Northeast quadrant of Apex Park - North Parcel, base of the Rocky Mountains foothills scarp, 4.56 km. south of the GNIS location of Golden.

Habitat: Mixed foothills grass- and shrub-land, the grasses having long since senesced in this long, hot, dry summer.
