Locality: United States, California, San Bernardino County, East side of Iron Mountains, southwest of Danby Lake, west side of Ward Valley. Ca. 1.9 miles west of powerline and Water Road (054).

Habitat: Wash through bajada. Slope 3-4 degrees, facing north. Light colored rock, gravel, and sand soil. Holocene alluvium below hills of subequigranular leucocratic muscovite-biotite monzogranite gneiss. Creosote bush scrub and desert wash vegetation.
