Habitat: Valley bottom; alkaline wash. Flat. Quaternary alluvium. Clay and silt soil, 10 YR 4/3 brown. Mesquite woodland (Prosopis glandulosa ?Çô Suaeda nigra association) surrounded by creosote bush scrub and saltbush scrub.
