Habitat:
Vernally mesic, northwesterly slope dominated by Adenostoma fasciculatum, Artemisia californica, with scattered Slavia mellifera. Well-developed herbaceous understory including Stipa lepida, Poa secunda, and numerous annuals. Locally common on slope in understory.
