Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Fraxinus velutina, Prosopis velutina, Fouquieria splendens, Erythrina flabelliformis, Dasylirion wheeleri, Opuntia engelmannii, Baccharis sarothroides, Dodonaea viscosa, Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biuncifera, Brickellia amplexicaulis, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bothriochloa barbinodis.
Description: Tree, 5.5 m; acorns single or paired, sessile.
