Habitat: Localized N-facing slope in oak-mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Quercus emoryi, Prosopis velutina, Agave palmeri, Carphochaete bigelovii, Yucca "schottii, " Mimosa dysocarpa, Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biuncifera, Ericameria laricifolia, Acmispon greenei, Trachypogon spicatus, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bothriochloa barbinodis.
Description: Perennial forb, 55 cm; stem and leaves glabrous; calyx pubescent; flowers white.
