Habitat: Desert transition chaparral; with Quercus wislizenii, Ceanothus leucodermis, Artemisia tridentata, Frangula californica, Prunus fascculata, Garrya veatchii, Dendromecon rigida, Eohedra nevadensis, marah. Erysimum capitatum, Eschscholzia californica, etc.
Notes: Yellow-flowered annual; near large clump of Quercus wislizeni.
