Growing on 5-7' N-facing bluff along Indian Creek below very rocky and steep woodlands.
Growing with Arisaema triphyllum, Hydrophyllum virginianum, Podophyllum peltatum, Asarum canadense, Tilia americana, Polygonatum biflorum, Trillium viridescens, Hydrangea arborescens & Uvularia grandiflora.
Fresh flowers were cream-colored with a rosy pinkish tinge.
