Locality: U.S.A., Alaska, Highway 1, c 4 km SE of Girdwood, right side of road en route to Girdwood, slopes near base of mountain across railroad tracks.
Elevation: 15 meters Verbatim Elevation: 15 m.
Habitat: Growing on dark loam soil at base of moderate mountain slope with continuous drop of snowmelt waters occurs. Together with species of Equisetum, Alnus, Rubus, Achillea, Thalictrum, Dryopteris, etc. With Populus-Picea-Alnus thickets.
