Habitat: On thin soil atop mossy ledge along ephemeral stream in mountainous Arizona pine-dominated Madrean evergreen woodland.
Substrate: Moist stony soil.
Associated Species: Pinus arizonica, Pinus leiophylla, Arbutus arizonica, Arbutus xalapensis, Quercus mcvaughii
Description: 1-1.5 dm tall decumbent to ascending perennial herb.
Notes: Growing among moss and Oxalis sp. on moist bedrock ledge adjacent to ephemeral northerly draining stream.
