Locality: United States, California, Riverside, Coachella Valley: east side of Coachella Canal near the foot of the Mecca Hills, vicinity of the east end of Ave 60.

Elevation: 15 meters (49ft)
Habitat: Alluvial slopes and low area where water accumulates above the canal berm. Creosote bush scrub on dry slopes, mixed microphyll & tamarisk woodland immediately above berm.
Reproductive Condition: Fruit
Notes: Solitary large shrub, about 2 m tall, on low flat where water accumulates.
