Habitat: Gravelly soil in oak savanna/oak woodland.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Prosopis velutina, Sarcomphalus obtusifolius, Opuntia engelmannii, Isocoma tenuisecta, Calochortus kennedyi, Dipterostemon capitatus, Eragrostis lehmanniana.
Description: Annual forb, locally common; leaves from base; flowers blue and white; pods short, flattened (edges pinched).
