Georeference Remarks: Decimal latitude and longitude calculated by collector. Used software BaseCamp (Garmin) to convert NAD27 to decimal latitude and longitude. Collector corrected or updated georeference in 2019.

Elevation: 1487 meters Verbatim Elevation: 4880 ft.

Habitat: Adjacent to stream-bed In barren, gravelly, flat portion of stream-bed bounded by banks of maroon rock bands and rocky debris slopes; closest associates include Yucca angustifolia, Ephedra torreyana, Guterrezia microcephala, Aliciella haydenii, Chamaesyce fendleri, Stephanomeria pauciflora; annual; stems prostrate; very common locally.

Substrate: Permian formation
