Habitat: N-facing limestone blufftop & very steep slope.
Associated Species: Growing with Bromus pubescens, Thaspium chapmanii, Oxalis stricta, Rhus aromatica serotina, Ptelea trifoliata, Fraxinus quadrangulata, Blephilia ciliata & Cletis tenuifolia.
Reproductive Condition: fruit

Notes: 30-50 plants scattered on steep bluff.
