Locality: United States, Arkansas, Craighead, Mississippi Alluvial Plain. St. Francis Lowlands Ecoregion. USGS Lake City 7.5' Quad. W edge of St. Francis Sunken Lands, along E side of levee about 0.5 mi. N of terminus of Craighead Co. Rd. 824, about 1 mi. E of jct. with Craighead Co. Rd. 817, about 3 mi. due E of Lunsford and AR Hwy 69. TRS: T13N R6E S14 Center N2SW4

Habitat: Edge of bottomland forest along channelized ditch/river and mowed area at base of levee.
Associated Species: Growing with Betula nigra, Acer rubrum var. drummondii, Amorpha fruticosa, Brunnichia ovata & Symphyotrichum lateriflorum.
Reproductive Condition: sterile
Preparations: Herbarium Sheet 1 of 1.
Notes: Two clones observed, one with about 30 stems up to 5.5 ft. tall and the other with about 12 stems up to 4 ft. tall. Both clones with an additional number of stems that had recently been cut by brush hog due to levee maintenance.
