Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Prosopis velutina, Juniperus deppeana, Rhus virens, Aralia humilis, Cyperus pallidicolor, Bouvardia ternifolia, Bouteloua curtipendula, Disakisperma dubium.
Description: Perennial forb, locally abundant; disk and ray flowers yellow.
