Habitat: N-facing rocky slope in oak woodland.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Agave palmeri, Rhus virens, Dasylirion wheeleri, Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biuncifera, Garrya wrightii, Nolina microcarpa, Brickellia californica, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Disakisperma dubium, Desmodium rosei, Mentzelia isolata.
Description: Perennial forb; flowers purple with darker purple spots.
