Habitat: Riolitic cliff and southern aspect slopes with rocky substrate with vegetation of grassland.

Description: Plants to 60-80 cm in diam., abundant pups. Leaves dark green to yellowish, 30-60 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, the margins with gray lines and teeth to 1 cm long, pointing downward. Inflorescence 4-5 m long, 3-5 cm wide at base; capsules light brown to grayish, 1-1.5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide. Seeds black. Abundant, growing at base of slopes and cliffs. Hybridizing with A. schidigera.
