Habitat: A large narrow meandering rocky limestone canyon. Scattered on rocky/gravely slopes of canyon and in canyon bottom.
Associated Species: Nolina parryi, Agave utahensis, Budleja utahensis, Mortonia utahensis, Ferocactus cylindraceus, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Eucnides urens, Yucca schidigera, Brickellia desertorum, Lotus rigidus, Rhus aromatica, Stipa speciosa, Purshia tridentata, Penstemon fruticiformis var. amargosae, etc.
