Description:
Occasional, pupping, leaves green tinged with maroon-rose, flower stalk ca 4 m tall, 52 mm in diameter at 1-3/4 m up from ground, inflorescence narrowly paniculate, lateral branches 14, perpendicular-ascending to stalk, down 40% of stalk, ovary, neck chartreuse, tube light chartreuse-golden orange-yellow, tepal lobes orange-yellow-golden, darker towards apices, no brown at tips, filaments, style golden yellow, anthers golden yellow, stigma darker yellow, flowers very strict, tepals clasping, ovary somewhat angled; flower measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm, pre-anthesis and during: tl=57, o=24x7, n=5.5, tu=12.5hx13w, fil ins=7.5, 6.2, fil=52, a=20, outer tepal lobe 16x7.5(base), 4.5(mid), inner tepal lobe 15x7.5(base), 4.2(mid), sty=38; tl=59, o=27x8, n=4, tu=15hx14w, fil ins=7.5, 9, fil=50, a=17, outer tepal lobe 17x7.2(base), 5.8(mid), inner tepal lobe 15x7(base), 3.8(mid), sty=41.
