Description:
Clasping Venus’s Looking Glass, Triodanis perfoliata, growing in a fallow wooden planter on West 70th street, 6/8/2016. Another 5-6 specimens of this species appeared simultaneously a block away (roughly 69th st. between West End Ave. and Amsterdam Ave.) in a neglected sunken flowerbed that’s part of an apartment complex, where I couldn’t approach close enough to photograph.
