Habitat: Desert shrub community of Carnegiea gigantea, Parkinsonia microphylla, Cylindropuntia fulgida, Ericameria laricifolia, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Simmondsia chinensis. On metamorphic volcanic boulders, bedrock, and rubble or thin silty-sand soil.
Associated Species: Aristida purpurea, Bromus rubens.
Description: Flowers yellow, aromatic. Uncommon in rock crevices.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
