Habitat: Secondary forest and forested roadsides.
Associated Species: with Ficus, Mimosa and Ipomoea.
Description: Shrubs to 4 m, corollas yellow, mature fruits and seeds brown. Flowers opening beteen 19:30-22:00, remaining n plant through following morning. Nectar % sugar: 9-25% (mean=25%). Hummingbirds observed nectar robbing flowers in the early morning. Approximately 35% of plants in population with 5th staminode. Plants abundant.
