Description: Originally collected by Hodgson and Andrew Salywon, 22 April 2011, plant occasional to uncommon, stems two. In cultivation at Desert Botanical Garden, April 2011. Flowers collected 5 April 2012, 9 April 2013 by Diane Steele and Kris Schloemer, 1:30 pm, 4 pm, 82(l) x 95(w) mm, 80x85 mm, 80x90 mm, outer perianth lavender with rusty-greenish brown midstripe, inner perianth lavender with dark pink midstripe, filaments light green, style pale green, stigma lobes green, 13-14; stem collected 24 January 2018 by Wendy Hodgson & Joni Ward, green/gray-green with purple along ribs, ribs 11, spines white with black tips or black or brown and some with dark reddish-brown tips, central 1, radials 6-7.
