Description: Small tree, 2 m, with fine textured, graceful form. Flowers canary yellow, pleasantly fragrant. Leaves grey-green, subtended by paired, stipular thorns, these recurving and becoming white or white-grey. Nectaries present along rachis, some leaf tips and branches and at base of thorns. Stems reddish, pubescent and glandular; minutely exfoliating bark appearing alomst as narrow ridges, becoming grey nearer to ground level.
