Locality:
United States, Arkansas, Baxter, From State Highway 14, 7.7 miles north on Push Mountain Road; then right on Cook Road about 0.5 miles to first creek; then downstream about 200 yards to near junction of two large streams. T 17 N; R 13 W; middle of section 34 and 35 border.
Habitat:
Valley in deciduous forest on sandy loam soil on sandstone. Growing in valley near stream on upper edge of sandstone ledge in deciduous woods.
