Habitat: Steep weedy slope, 36 degrees, facing S38W, recently burned, fine granitic sand and clay, used to be scrub oak woodland, but burned and now mostly weedy annuals
Associated Species: Lupinus, Salvia columbariae, Sisymbrium, Tetradymia, Bromus diandrus, B. tectorum, Stipa, Brassica nigra, Melilotus, annual Eriogonum, Cryptantha, Hesperoyucca whipplei.
Description: Annual, in patches among weeds, scattered on other hillsides nearby
Notes: Population voucher: Hungry Valley B, >100 plants
