United States, Florida, Miami-Dade, United States: Florida: Dade [Miami-Dade] County. 25°40'59-50" N 80°15'10"-14'54" W (coordinates run from NW entrance to SE promontory) Miami, on Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove, 4013 South Douglas Road (= SW 37th Avenue), N of junction with Ingraham Highway, S of junction with Main Highway, the Kampong of the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Heavily cultivated landscape (hundreds of species); in the F-5 area (N of driveway, NW of the Nursery). Spiny vine ca 7 m high into tree, with pendent branches, leaves slightly succulent; mature fruits orange, seeds blackish.
