Locality:
United States, Tennessee, Blount, United States: Tennessee: Blount County. 2728 East Broadway, Maryville. Urban. Tree ca 35 feet tall, fruit a green to brown spherical bur. Owner said the tree had been covered with larger burs earlier in the year, but the droughty conditions recently resulted in there being only 1 good nut within the bur.
