Locality: United States, Oregon, Clatsop, United States: Oregon: Clatsop County. Herb, locally abundant. Growing in shade on the second to last dune before the beach, covered with scrubby forest with open patches. Growing with Pinus contorta, Picea sitchensis, Rhamnus purshiana, Lonicera involucrata, Polystichum munitum, Cytisus scoparius, Gautheria shallon, and Rubus sp. Just N. of an access road to the beach, about 0.8mi W. of the intersection with rt. 101, roughly 9mi SW of Astoria and 8mi N. of Seaside. Sunset Beach.
