Locality: United States, Florida, Alachua, United States: Florida: Alachua County. Evergreen shrub of diffuse habit, branches; bark brown, shaggy, peeling in thin strips; 6-7 ft. tall; D.B.H. 5-6 in. (at base); fr. pendulous in clusters, orange red, warty; ca. 3/4 in. wide, nearly globose. Grows well here. East face Nuclear Science Center, University of Florida, Gainesville.
